OUR PROJECTS

Gift A VISION

Uttarakhand is a geographically and socio-culturally diverse state because of location and scattered population in hilly and plain region. It is estimated that 6% to 10% children of this hilly state uttarakhand have problems with their eye sight affecting their participation and learning at school. People over theage of 50 are also affected with the vision impairment and blindness which can be easily corrected by a pair of spectacles. We organize eye checkup (medical) camps and also distribute free eye glasses (pair of spectacles) especially for the people who do not have access to health clinics and hospitals. The main objective of these camps is to spread awareness on eye disorders, early detection of ailments and to detect refractive errors and provide corrective glasses free of cost to the underprivileged communities.

Edu Care

Education is one of the primary needs besides food, shelter, and clothing. We provide educational material to needy students. Distributing educational materials to underprivileged school students will help them get equal opportunities in education. This will help poor students become conscious of education, which will reduce the problem of school dropout to some extent. With this help, parents will also motivate their children to get a school education, and the children will gain confidence.

Hygiene Matter

In rural areas of Uttarakhand, myths and misconceptions are still strong, and various restrictions are also imposed on women and girls during their menstruation period. More than 60% of women living in villages are still using clothes during menstruation, resulting in poor personal hygiene and unsafe sanitary conditions that lead to infectious diseases and gynecological problems. Due to poverty and low income, women cannot afford commercial sanitary pads, which force them to use homemade solutions. Awareness camps are organized by the Rashtriya Uttarakhand Sabha to spread awareness about the benefits of adopting hygiene practices and the medical problems, infertility, menstruation cycle, and infection of reproductive organs. We also distribute free sanitary pads through these camps.

Life Saver

Life Saver is our ongoing initiative, hosting regular blood donation camps to save lives, improve community health, and cultivate a culture of altruism. Through these camps, we ensure a steady supply of blood for medical emergencies, supporting hospitals and patients in need. By encouraging individuals to donate blood, we empower them to make a direct impact on others’ well-being. Together, we strengthen the bonds of solidarity and compassion, fostering a healthier and more caring society.

Ease In Walk

Our initiative focuses on distributing walking sticks and crutches to handicapped and elderly individuals, aiming to enhance their mobility and promote self-reliance. By providing these essential mobility aids, we empower recipients to navigate their daily lives with greater independence and dignity. Through our efforts, we strive to address the unique challenges faced by individuals with mobility impairments, enabling them to participate more fully in their communities. Ultimately, our goal is to improve their quality of life and foster a more inclusive and supportive society for all.

By equipping farmers with the knowledge and resources they need, we empower them to overcome challenges and achieve sustainable growth. Our goal is to foster resilience and prosperity within rural communities, ensuring food security and economic stability for farmers and their families. Together, we strive to build a more sustainable and thriving agricultural sector for the future.
